I'm a total Standing Wave evangelist. Even though the permanent storefront is far outside of Pittsburgh, I'm always wiling to go on the hunt for the Standing Wave coffee truck, which is usually parked in Oakland. There's SOO much to gush about when it comes to Standing Wave. The owner makes all his syrups, prioritizes sustainability, is super nice and cool, and seems really honest about trying to keep prices low. Bringing a reusable cup gets you a $1 off! That's an unbeatable personal cup discount. But above all, Standing Wave earns my praise because they're the only coffee shop to have ever made a sparkling coffee drink that I actually loved.
