What we liked: small menu but they do it well, best local vibes
What we didn't like: limited seating, limited menu variety
Redhawk is like your trusty pair of shoes that aren't that cute but always comfortable. It's not our favorite shop ever, but you can't go wrong with a quick Redhawk jaunt.
We've actually probably tried like a million things from Redhawk, so the list of drink rankings is not exhaustive. They don't often have a very robust specials list, which is something we enjoy, but their simple drinks are solid and reliable too. They also have a nice selection of baked goods and snacks.

The shop (Oakland location) is cozy and cute, but the seating is VERY limited! So be prepared to take your coffee to-go, or maybe sit in the window, which is more often open, but not always the most comfortable.

Plus, I like the baristas there, so always a good experience.

Pistacho Latte
- their pistachio syrup is dynamic; simply put, this drink is just very, very tasty.

Strawberry Matcha
- redhawk has high quality matcha, and the strawberry is such a delightful touch. this combo is topping the matcha charts.

Mocha
- redhawk mocha is made with a rich, delicious chocolate milk. i used to say this was the best mocha in pittsburgh, but it has actually been inconsistent at times. so i'll say there's a chance you can get the best mocha in pittsburgh here.

Plain Latte, Cortado, and Americano
- any of these three are solid and reliable at redhawk. the espresso is good, quality is consistent. i almost always get one of these three, and i'm never disappointed.​
