Delanie's
Southside
What we liked: great seating, decor, and drinks
What we didn't like: occasionally sell out of food/drinks
Taking into account atmosphere, drinks, food, seating, and service, Delanie's is probably our favorite coffee shop in Pittsburgh. It's a cozy and tasteful coffee shop in Southside with an interior filled with wooden decor and plants, but the star of the show is the abundance of seating and the upstairs loft. The atmosphere is really lovely, the music is good, and the baristas are always extremely friendly. The shop also has plenty of board games and books open for customers to use. Delanie's also has a happy hour from 4-6pm Monday through Friday with $1 off lattes and $2 off cocktails. Good specials menu and selection of pastries, food, and other drinks. Pretty creative drink menu and everything we've gotten so far has been really good. We can't really find any negatives about Delanie's; the only knock on the food and drink menu is that they tend to sell out of certain drinks/run out of certain food fairly quickly (such as vegetarian options). The location on E Carson St is great; it's located near multiple places to get food, thrift, get a tattoo, or go out for a drink. If you're a coffee fan or in the area, you've gotta try Delanie's!

What We Ordered:

House Favorite Cold Brew
- Perfect balance of sweetness and coffee flavor; coffee ice cubes make it even better. This is one of the greatest coffee drinks in Pittsburgh.
Pumpkin Spice Latte
- faint pumpkin flavor and tasted a little chalky, the barista was working on perfecting the house-made syrup while serving us and offered to make us another if we didn't like it which was appreciated
Tiramisu Latte
- We weren't sure what we were gonna get with this latte, but it ended up being one of our favorites! Good coffee flavor and sweetness, super rich and creamy
